Provenance Mollie Parnis was a New York fashion designer who ran a very successful clothing business from 1933-1984. Her clothes were worn by First Ladies and business women alike, and she designed the uniform of the Cadet Nurse Corps in WWII. Her clothes were not custom-made, but also were not mass-produced. This dress was purchased at Al Rosenthal's, Oklahoma City.
