Description Handset (receiver) of German field telephone designed by Siemens & Halske. These phones were coming into production in 1905 with modifications made through 1915.
This is the German forerunner of an EE-8 Field Telephone. The US Army began the use of EE-8s in 1932 with procurement beginning in 1937.
