Bobbie Lee Neely was from Webber Falls, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Navy from 1948-1950. When the Korean War broke out, he re-enlisted in the Navy in August 1950 and served until 1954. He was a Petty Office Third Class Machinist's Mate aboard the U.S.S. Bairoko CVE 115.
