Description Gold and red ribbon with metal medal. Cross of Honor (large double-sided cross with sabers crisscrossed and emblem in middle, reads "Republique Francaise") hangs from bottom of ribbon. In middle of ribbon is U.S. pin with olive wreath background and star with "U.S." in the middle surrounded by smaller stars.
