This is a black and gold chair with a cane seat. The spindle on the back of the chair and the stretchers between the front legs are turned and some of the rings are painted gold. The feet of the front legs are highly modified ball feet and appear to be rings just above the bottoms of the front legs.

Large black desk chair used from 1994-2006 in the House of Representatives by Debbie Blackburn. The chair has a black leather padded back with a large golden state seal of Oklahoma on the front of the backside. The chair has two leather padded armrests attached to wooden rails holding up the armrests. The chair is supported by a wooden frame with 4 legs, each with a metal ball-wheel attached to it. The back side of the chair has a small wooden plaque with black lettering that reads, "HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES - STATE OF OKLAHOMA - PROPERTY NO. C-69." Solid walnut with tapestry upholstery. There is an engraved brass plaque near the top of the front of the chair back . This plaque reads "GIFT OF MRS. KATE HARKINS MCCLENDON 1934. No 4174 C.C.C." Beneath the plaque is a floral design. There is a patch of yellowish-white material adhering to the rear top of right upright of the chair's back. The underside has been reinforced with two crossed pieces of heavy, white canvas approximately 4 inches wide which have been tacked to the bottom of the seat frame. T
